Barbara Edwards Contemporary, Toronto is pleased to present critic and writer Murray Whyte in conversation with New York art advisor Juliette Moir on the works of Robin Rhode.

Murray Whyte is the art critic for The Toronto Star, where he focuses on criticism and analysis of contemporary art exhibitions and current museum practice. He worked as a documentary TV producer for the CBC, and as the deputy arts editor of the National Post. Whyte has also contributed to many major art publications in the US and Canada, including The New York Times, The NY Observer, Outside, ARTNews, Details, and Canadian Art.

Juliette Moir is a Principal Partner at Contemporary Art Partners, an art financing group that collects the works of cutting edge international artists. She has been living in New York since 1996 and has worked in many facets of the art world from galleries and artist studios to advising collections.

Both Speakers hold considerable knowledge of contemporary art in an international context and will offer unique and informed perspective on the impact of Rhode's work.
